Infection Control / COVID 19 Measures

Undertaking EASA medical examinations as well as other occupational medical checks, travel vaccinations and pilot medicals, the team and patients need to take additional measures to ensure an ongoing safe environment to work in.

CORONAVIRUS – 2019 (COVID-19) is a new respiratory illness that has now been declared a pandemic by WHO.

It usually affects the respiratory tract including the lungs and airways.

Anyone with a FEVER, cough. sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, or recent loss of smell/ taste WILL NOT be seen.

However, we can offer a phone consultation and arrange testing if appropriate. Please call 0333 404 3232.

For further information, please click the NHS advice link below.

Clearly the safety of our staff and service users alike is paramount, therefore moving forward we will be observing the following guidelines to provide a safer working environment for our staff and clients.

  • We will be seeing only one client in the building at any time

  • Full PPE will be worn by our front-facing medical and reception staff, including face masks and face shields

  • Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the clinics for all to use

  • We have enhanced our infection control procedure for maximum cleanliness and sanitisation

  • Clients will need to attend strictly at their appointment time and on an individual basis

  • We recommend our clients to attend with a face covering, ideally a face mask until the situation with COVID -19 changes

  • Face masks will be provided to our clients upon request

  • Pre-assessment forms should be completed before attending the clinic and can be downloaded from the site or requested by email in advance.

For asymptomatic clients who need a PCR COVID19 test certificate in order to fulfil country/ airline requirements or want an COVID19 IgG/ IgM antibody blood test, they should call 0333 404 3232 in order for us to arrange these tests safely and effectively
