Need a Light Aircraft Pilots License?

The medical standards for a Light Aircraft Pilots License (LAPL) are DVLA Class 2 or Class 1 with restrictions added by an AME.

Please bring the following with you:

Ensure you have joined the UK CAA Cellma portal and have and completed your medical application form online.

Get an extended eye exam form completed by an optician if you wear contact lens or glasses and haven't got a prescription dated within the past 2 years.

A valid driving license

Last medical certificate if applicable

Then come visit us for the medical

Give yourself plenty of time to locate us, find parking and relax on our lovely leather Chesterfields

DON'T forget to bring your forms

Bring your passport to validate your ID

Turn up with a full bladder so we can do a urine check. ( We've got a water dispenser in case

If you need an ECG, Do not use moisturiser and please shave your chest (if applicable) before hand

The medical process is normally completed within 1 hr

Leave with your medical certificate and a big smile!
Payment is accepted by Cash, Debit / Credit Cards.

Revalidation time limits for LAPLs
Certificates can be revalidated up to 45 days before the expiry date of the current certificate keeping the existing expiry date as the start of the next validity period.
If your age is under 40 years- this should be done every 5 years (or until 42nd birthday)
If your age is over 40 years then this should be done every 2 years
